People always tell me I look taller when I get back from being away for a while. I don't think I'm growing anymore, my pants still fit. I think our memories of people skew, distort, and blur over time. One thing portraits do is preserve the way a person looks and feels in a given moment. Due to a camera malfunction, some of these portraits are skewed, distorted, and blurred, but maybe they are a more accurate representation of how we remember the people we haven't seen in a while. Some memories are sharp, others more foggy. What do you remember?
